Event Dates: March 15-20, 2004

Clean Snowmobile Challenge Schedule

Monday March 15, 2004

  • Teams arrive and set up in the staging area
  • ISMA Meeting at KRC
  • Registration of Teams and volunteers
  • Teams turn in Snowmobile Description form
  • Static Display Judging at 5:00 p.m.
  • Shop closes at midnight

Tuesday March 16, 2004

  • Judges and Liaisons Meeting
  • Safety Inspections by ISR
  • Fuel fill up by Gage Products
  • Depart for Endurance/Fuel Economy Event
  • Evening meal at Mariners in Copper Harbor
  • Return to KRC
  • Shop closes at midnight

Wednesday March 17, 2004

  • Judges and Liaisons Meeting
  • Design Presentations on campus
  • Teams fix sleds
  • Make up endurance miles
  • Ski at Ripley or VIP rides from local rental shops
  • MSA Pizza Party in Evening
  • Sled outside by Midnight
  • Shop closes at Midnight

Thursday March 18, 2004

  • Judges and Liaisons Meeting
  • Cold Start Event
  • Noise Event
  • Emissions Event
  • Braking Event
  • Pig Roast
  • Shop closes at midnight

Friday March 19, 2004

  • Judges and Liaisons Meeting
  • Emissions Event (continued)
  • Ski at Ripley or VIP rides from local rental shops

Saturday March 20, 2004

  • Judges and Liaisons Meeting
  • Emissions Event (continued if necessary)
  • Events open to the Public
    • Acceleration
    • Handling
  • Judges final results meeting
  • Banquet at the MUB
